Embers Fire Festival wouldn’t be complete without the chance to experience the magic of fire for yourself.

In these guided “have-a-go” fire poi sessions, you’ll learn the basics of spinning safely while discovering the thrill, rhythm, and mesmerising flow of working with flame. Expect glowing sparks, big smiles, and the unforgettable rush of dancing with fire. It’s safe, supervised, and seriously hot fun!

Step up to the challenge in our fiery Chilli Eating Competition, where brave contestants battle their way through increasingly spicy peppers to see who can keep their cool the longest. It’s a test of courage, endurance, and serious tastebud toughness — with plenty of laughs, cheers, and eye-watering reactions along the way!

We’re thrilled to welcome the chilli dons to run this for us - Clifton Chilli Club - they know their chilli peppers, and they like them HOT!

Fun, hands-on workshops will be running throughout each day, allowing you to try exciting activities like juggling, plate spinning, diabolo, flower sticks, poi, balancing tricks, and acrobatics. Expect lots of laughter, colourful props, and general circus silliness, all led by our super silly circus friends at Stiklings

Dinky Street Pop-Up is an immersive role-play experience where children can play, imagine and learn in a world created just for them. Little ones are invited to explore our beautifully designed miniature town - complete with everything from supermarkets and cafés to police stations and farms - encouraging children to step into real-world roles, follow their curiosity and let their imaginations lead the way.

Expect upbeat tunes and plenty of party energy. A chance for little movers to show off their best moves on the dance floor. With favourite songs, silly dance challenges, and lots of giggles along the way, it’s the perfect place for kids to burn some energy and join the party!

The Kin Tent brings the perfect space for families with young children - a calm place to relax, play, and connect with our specialised family wellbeing practitioners. Take time out from the busy day and unwind in our beautiful canvas tent, thoughtfully equipped with everything you need, from baby-changing and feeding facilities to an engaging play space designed to keep little ones happy while you recharge.

Festival visitors of all ages are invited to step into a world of oversized games and hands on discovery from the team at Boardroom Gaming Cafe. From giant chess to giant jenga, if you don’t fancy getting involved in a chilli eating competition, you can get involved in this!
