The epic DJ BBQ, aka Christian Stevenson, is going to be bringing the energy and the best of North Carolina BBQ food to Embers Fire Festival in 2026. Known for his catertainment sets, DJ BBQ is a pro multitasker and spade guitar player. Despite living in the UK for most of his life, his roots are in America and he has travelled every state, meaning his knowledge of American food goes further than classic BBQ.

Davey worked as a Sergeant Chef in the RAF for 15 years and then went on to work in culinary operations for Formula 1 and working alongside two-Michelin-starred chef Ollie Dabbous. Now he is the founder and culinary force behind Reclaimed Fire, where his obsession with fire cookery, flavour and theatre comes to life.

Kaizen

Kaizen are a Japanese shop in the heart of The Parade, Shrewsbury. At the festival, they will be putting on a bookable experience for visitors to cook over fire, Yakitori BBQ style, using ingredients supplied by Embers. You won’t want to miss out on this.
